Start saving all of your money and stockpiling rare materials for Chapter 3. I don't have problems finding groups with my Warrior, Ele, or my Ranger. I've easily spent over 700k for those 3 characters since factions came out.

My N/W has req7 and 8 weapons so she can actually go into the arenas
My N/R has the finest bows in the game
My N/A is just beginning to get lethal and has the best Daggers money can buy ......it goes on per prof.....
You really should experiment more with your Necros 2nd prof and remember that with Soul Reaping as your primary Attribute you're spoilt.
And as to where to spend your money... go find a "cheap" req7 max damage 15^50 sword THEN complain about too much money
lol

After selling the Totem Axe for ridicolous amount and getting on the enemy vs. enemy farming bandwagon, I now have quite the sum. I have 270k, which is probably more than atleast 90% of the users.
However, I have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to purchase.
The problem lies in the fact that there's nothing substantial (for primary casters) to buy inbetween 15k Armor and FoW Armor. A full set of 15k costs 75k (or 155k if you involve Luxon/Kurzick Armor) while a full set of FoW costs more than 1 million+ gold. That's quite a big gap.
In-between this gap, there are weapons with special skins that can be purchased. Perfect Celestial, Perfect Zodiac, Kanaxi's, and Urgoz's weapons are good examples. However, only Warriors, Rangers, and Assassins are overly dependant on weapons. So how do casters spend huge chunks of moola?
My main, as you see from the avatar, is a Necromancer. She sports 15k Canthan and has perfect Weapons for all 3 Necromancer Attributes (even that overpriced Ghial's Staff.)
My other main, a Ritualist, sports 15k Kurzick, dyed completely black, and also has a set of perfect weapons (fortunately, that's very easy, since Restoration and Channeling rely on Ashes. )
Another one of my characters, my Monk, sports 15k Saintly, dyed black, and also has a set of perfect weapons.
My Elementalist (which sports 15k Pyromancer), my Warrior, and my Ranger have been put on hold indefinately since no one seems to want them in groups.
Now you see the problem. All my central chaarcters already have 15k Armors (with expensive dyes!) and perfect weapons. There's nothing for me to buy.
What exactly do casters do with large sums of money?
|
270k is definitely not the top 90 percentile. Possibly close. If you really wanna waste money get golds. Greens are perfect but they're boring in my opinion (and yes, I used to love them). Get some Zodiac and Celestial weapons. A Dragon's Breath Wand for your Elementalist would be pretty damn sexy. I can understand it being harder to find a group with a Ranger but wow, your tank must suck if you can't get a group. Offense intended. Warriors are more fun anyways. I've spent millions on my tank just because there's so many more options. And it is possible to buy new sets of armor. 15k Pyro armor from Prophecies isn't exactly the most glorious armor. As for monk, I've never been satisfied with any of it.

I give up. No matter how much I want to spend, I keep getting more.
My problem with Warriors is that they don't stand out. Every Warrior looks the same. They all have that damn 15k Kurzick or FoW. Most of them have 0 points in Tactics. They merely deal weak amounts of damage. Atleast with my Necromancer or Ritualist, people know who I am and what I do.
And I discriminate horribly against W/Mo, since most have no clue how to play. I do not want to be a hypocrite.
But if a Warrior is the best way to handle this money sink...so be it.

Collect mass ammounts of worthless crafting materials.
I am using mine to build a space ship to the moon so I can go to ebay and dye my helmets.
No, not all warriors look alike. Buy the awesome 15k luxon armor so you can look like a crab. Not many people have the guts to wear that in public. Also, just buy the dye combos you can stand out from the other warriors. Just pick a unique face and dye. Also, unique weapon types (and I mean stuff that people don't use often, not Crystaline swords, ect, everyone has or wants them -.-)

wait a sec......since when do w/ use artery/gash in pve? isn't that a little retadded(not retarded, retadded)?
my favorites are the w/mo + mending. i always get a kick out of that. my second prof right now is mo, but I don't use any mo skills, pure warrior. only reason its mo is because of the build my friend and i use to run dunes.
